SAN DIEGO (AP) - Jackie Campbell and Joy Jenkins each scored 15 points to lead No. 17 Colorado State to a 69-60 win over San Diego State on Saturday night.
Campbell and Jenkins filled a big void for Colorado State (20-5, 9-2 Mountain West Conference), whose top two scorers - Angie Gorton and Ashley Augspurger - were held scoreless in a sluggish first half.
The Rams, coming off a 71-57 loss at UNLV, reached the 20-win mark for the seventh straight season.
Claire Swinbank and Jamey Cox led the Aztecs with 14 points apiece.
Campbell hit 5 of 7 shots from the field, including two 3-pointers, while Jenkins added a pair of 3-pointers and six rebounds.
Augspurger finished with 12 points and Katie Borton added 11. Gorton, the Rams' leading scorer with an average of 13.7 points, scored six.
The Rams used a 20-4 run to take a 54-44 lead with 8:19 remaining.
San Diego State (9-14, 1-9) lost its fifth straight after taking a 32-30 halftime lead.
But the Aztecs, who shot 60 percent in the first half, cooled off in the final 20 minutes, making just 34.4 percent from the field.
Colorado State, which shot just 27.8 percent in the first half, made 11 of 18 shots in the second half, and finished with a 43-28 rebounding edge.
