SAN DIEGO (AP) - Randy Holcomb scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, leading San Diego State to a 90-72 win Wednesday over Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne.

Holcomb registered his seventh double-double of the season and his 13th in two years, helping the Aztecs (9-4) to their seventh win in nine games.

Al Faux scored 17 points, Tony Bland added 14 and Chris Walton came off the bench to score 12 points with a career-high 10 rebounds.

Nick Wise scored 18 points to lead Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne (2-13), whose losing streak was extended to five games. Jim Kessenich added 14 points.

The Mastodons, who trailed 42-30 at halftime, cut the lead to 46-38 four minutes into the second half. But San Diego State went on a 10-2 run to take control and its lead never dipped below double figures.
