Three Aztecs Named To All-MWC Soccer Team

San Diego State forwards Kim Castellanos and Kim Rogers have been named to the all-Mountain West Conference first team by a vote of the league's coaches. In addition, goalkeeper Linnea Quinones was selected to the all-conference second team.

Castellanos, a sophomore from San Diego (Rancho Bernardo High), is a repeat first-team All-MWC honoree after leading the Aztecs this season with 10 goals and a pair of assists (22 points). Her point total ranks third overall in this week's league statistics. Castellanos was the 2000 conference co-freshman of the year.

Rogers was honored for her overall play this fall. The senior from Whiterock, BC, Canada, recorded one assist this season, that coming in last weekend's 3-2 win at UNLV.

Quinones, a senior from Chula Vista (Bonita Vista High), has averaged 5.40 saves per game this season with a goals against average of 1.95.
