Casillan was also a member of the Aztecs' 200 medley relay team that posted a top finish and season-best time of 1:48.68.

Overall, SDSU won 9-of-14 swimming events in Saturday's meet and captured its third-straight victory this season in dual meet action.

Casillan, who owns the school record in the 100 and 200 backstroke, is the first Aztec to earn the weekly award this season. The ocassion marks her second career swimmer of the week award.

The Aztecs return to the pool this weekend with dual meets against Brigham Young on Friday in Provo and on Saturday versus Utah in Salt Lake City.
