SAN DIEGO - San Diego State will play the first of two preseason exhibition games Thursday night against the EA Sports All-Stars. Game time at Cox Arena is set for 7:30 p.m.
The EA Sports All-Stars have six different traveling teams. San Diego State will face the West team, which will play its first game against a Division I college team on Wednesday night at Cal State Fullerton. After playing at San Diego State on Thursday, the EA Sports squad will play at Pepperdine (Nov. 3), at San Diego (Nov. 5), at UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 6), at Fresno State (Nov. 7), at UCLA (Nov. 8), at California (Nov. 9), at UNLV (Nov. 10) and at Hawai'i (Nov. 11).
The West team is made up of former college standouts, Ray Kelly (UC Santa Barbara), Jabari Johnson (Texas-Arlington), Brooklyn McClinn (CSU Northridge), Brandon Titus (Long Beach State), Jason Crowe (CSU Northridge), Damion Walker (New Mexico), Julius Hicks (Oregon), DeAnthony Langston (Long Beach State) and L. Dee Murdock (Illinois State).
The Aztecs wrap up exhibition play Nov. 7 with a game against the L.A. Stars. San Diego State's first regular-season game is Nov. 16, when the Aztecs play Northern Iowa in the opening round of the Red Raider Classic in Lubbock, Texas.
