SAN DIEGO - San Diego State sophomore Oliver Maiberger, the 13th ranked singles player in the country, won four sets - two singles and two doubles - but it was not enough as the Aztecs fell to Arizona, 24-20, and defending national champion South Alabama, 23-21, in the World TeamTennis Championship played at the Barnes Tennis Center on Friday.
