SDSU Volleyball Beats Seton Hall, 3-0

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's volleyball team is a strong believer in home-court advantage as they raced past Seton Hall 3-0, Monday night in Peterson Gym. The win gives the Aztecs a six game home-winning streak. State overthrew the Pirates with games of 30-22, 30-23 and 30-25.

Zlatina Anguelova finished the night with 11 kills, a .350 hitting percentage, one ace and four blocks. Aspen McPartland tallied eight kills, a .538 hitting percentage, six digs and six blocks. Robyn Gregg added four more aces to her already conference-topping 27.

As a team, the Aztecs registered 46 kills and a .290 hitting percentage versus the Pirates' 34 kills and .105.

The Aztecs will travel to Ohio State for the Buckeye Classic, Sept. 14-15, in Columbus, Ohio. San Diego State will face off with Western Michigan on Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. The Aztec road trip will continue at Loyola Marymount on Sept. 18, Air Force on Sept. 20 and New Mexico on Sept. 22. The team will return home on Sept. 27, to face Colorado State, last year's Mountain West Conference champions.
