EUGENE, Ore. - San Diego State junior Daveetta Shepherd advanced to the semi-finals in the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday at Oregon's Hayward Field, clocking a season-best time of 13.13.

Shepherd's time of 13.13 would qualify as the third-fastest in the SDSU record books. However, the time is considered wind-aided as the junior was running with a 2.8 knot tail wind.

Shepherd, who finished fourth in her heat but ran the seventh-best time of the day, is slated to run in Heat 2 of Friday's semis at 6:25 p.m. The top-4 finishers in each semi-final heat will move on to Saturday's finals at 5:10 p.m.

Aztec senior's Aja Frary and Aimee Crabtree will be in action on Friday, with Frary scheduled to compete in the heptathlon starting at 2 p.m. and Crabtree entered in the pole vault trials and finals at 5 p.m. The heptathlon concludes with its final three events on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
