SUNRIVER, Ore. - The San Diego State men's golf team is in third with a 600 (307-293) (+24) after the second round of the Mountain West Conference Championship at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
SDSU shot the second best round of the day with a 293. New Mexico carded a 285 to share the lead with Brigham Young at 599. The Aztecs are four strokes ahead of Colorado State (604).
Junior John Lepak of SDSU shares the lead in the individual field with Jesse Hibler of BYU with a 147. Sophomore John Lieber turned in the next best Aztec finish in eighth with a 150.
The final 18 holes will be played Wednesday, beginning at 9 a.m. (PST).
