San Diego State Falls To Wyoming, 101-66

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Wyoming used a dominating inside game and placed six players in double figures, led by Marcus Bailey's 18 points, to beat San Diego State 101-66 Saturday.

Wyoming (15-4, 6-1 Mountain West) used a 23-2 run to post its sixth straight victory, 13th in a row at home and eighth straight home conference win.

Uche Nsonwu-Amadi had 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Josh Davis scored 13 and Chris McMillian 11 for the Cowboys. Ronell Mingo and Brett McFall added 10 each for Wyoming, which outscored San Diego State 42-18 in the lane.

Myron Epps scored 16 to lead San Diego State (11-8, 1-5), which has lost five of six. Al Faux added 15, while Karlo Kovacic had 13 and Marcelo Correa 10 for the Aztecs.

Wyoming dominated the boards, finishing with 53 rebounds to 26 for San Diego State and the Cowboys shot 70 percent in the second half.

San Diego State never led but tied the game at 29 with 5:27 remaining in the first half on two free throws by Chris Walton.

The Cowboys then outscored the Aztecs 14-0 before intermission and 9-2 to start the second half to take a 52-31 lead.

McFall had seven points, three steals and a rebound during a 19-3 surge that left the Cowboys up 76-44 with 8:10 left.
