VALLEJO, Calif. - San Diego State's women's golf team is second of 11 teams after the first round of the Bay Area Classic at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, Calif.
NO. 52 SDSU turned in a 309 Monday. The Aztecs are 10 strokes behind No. 42 Washington who leads the field with a 299.
Junior Heather Rollo led the Aztecs in the first round with a 74 and is in third place. Senior Jo Clingan turned in the next best finish with a 77.
The Final round of the Bay Area Classic will be played Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
