SAN DIEGO - The No. 16 San Diego State water polo team defeated No. 17 Princeton, 10-4, Friday evening at UC Santa Barbara. The win improved the Aztecs to 4-4 overall.
The Aztecs were led in scoring by sophomore Amber Prestegard with five and freshman Holly Hartzell with four. Prestegard has 21 goals on the season thus far and Hartzell has 17. Junior goalie Heather Stiles recorded 13 saves for SDSU.
The Aztecs are next in action tomorrow morning at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational. They will play their first round against Loyola Marymount at 8:00 a.m.
