Men's Golf In 11th Place After Second Round Of John A. Burns Intercollegiate

WAHIAWA, Hawaii - The No. 22 San Diego State men's golf team is in 11th place of 19 teams after Thursday's second round of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii at the Leilehua Golf Course.

The Aztecs have a two-round total of 581 after shooting a 290 on today's 18 holes. They shot a 291 in the first round. Mountain West foe New Mexico leads the field with a 553 (282-271).

SDSU senior Ryan Donovan and John Lieber lead the Aztecs tied for 24th with a 142. Michael Letzig of New Mexico has held the lead for two rounds with a 130 (66-64).

The final round will begin with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun on Friday.
