Men's Golf Finishes 18th At Taylor Made

WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - The No. 12 San Diego State men's golf team finished in 18th place after the final round of the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii-Hilo.

The Aztecs scored a three round total of 940 (336-309-295). The team turned in their best round of the tournament today with a 295. Texas led the tournament after all three rounds and won the tournament with an 893 (302-310-281).

SDSU sophomore Lars Johansson, who led the Aztecs, finishing in 34th place with a 231 (81-77-73). Senior Ryan Donovan turned in the next best Aztec finish Ryan with a 235 (85-78-72), placing 50th. Sprague Kolp of Nevada was the individual medalist with a 217 (76-72-69).

The Aztecs are next in action at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate Invitational in Honolulu at the Leleiha Golf Course, Feb. 21-23.
