SAN DIEGO - The 27th-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team (2-0) won its second match in as many days defeating No. 63 Rice 7-0 Sunday at the SDSU Tennis Courts.

The Aztecs won five of six singles matches in straight sets with sophomore Silvia Tornier kicking the rally off in the No. 1 spot with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Rice senior Erin Waters.
