SAN DIEGO - For the second consecutive game, San Diego State posted 50 points in a half, as the Aztecs defeated Sacramento State 91-69 on Saturday night at Cox Arena.
With the win, the Aztecs continue their best start since the 1996-97 season.
Junior forward Myron Epps scored a season-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Junior guard Al Faux came off the bench to score a career-high 19 points. Faux was 6-of-7 from the field, including 2-of-3 from three-point range.
Junior guard Karlo Kovacic and junior forward Randy Holcomb also tallied in double-figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Aztecs led by just 11 at the break, but used a 17-7 run to open the second half and put the game away.
