San Diego - The San Diego State women's cross country team ends the regular season with a fourth place finish at the 8th Annual UNLV Invitational today in Las Vegas.
For the second time this season, sophomore Kylie Edwards led the Aztecs, finishing seventh out of 44 runners with a time of 19:06.10. Senior Sophia Hawker (Grossmont HS) finished her last regular season meet in 11th place with a time of 19:18.90. Sophomores Jennifer Stakiw and Alicia Stewart finished 18th and 19th, respectively.
UNLV's Jenni Lopez won the women's invitational with a time of 17:52.30.
The Aztecs will next compete on Oct. 28 at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Fort Collins, Colo. Start time is 9:00 a.m.
