San Diego State Falls to Third-Straight Ranked Opponent

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's volleyball team fell to its fourth straight opponent on Tuesday, dropping a 3-0 decision to No. 8 Pepperdine in Peterson Gym.

The Waves took the match by scores of 15-8, 15-3 and 15-2 in improving to 4-0. SDSU is now 0-4 with the four losses coming to San Diego, No. 14 UC Santa Barbara and No. 10 Arizona.

The Aztecs had a .182 attack percentage while Waves hit .398.

SDSU was led by senior Monet Solberg, who had 10 kills in the first two games of the match.

The Aztecs return to action this weekend in the Nike Conference Challenge in Portland, Oregon.
