ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The San Diego State softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader with New Mexico (12-1, 4-0) Saturday in front of 1,887 fans at Lobo Field in Albuquerque, N.M.
In game one, Aztec hurler Sandra Durazo struggled against a tough Lobo batting order. The junior allowed eight hits and five earned runs before leaving the game with two outs in the fourth.
Only four SDSU batters were able to garner hits - Kellie Nordhagen, Alexis Gutierrez, Christy Sears and Tashie Agui?aga.
Durazo was not able to recover in game two as she allowed nine hits and walked four. She suffered both losses and falls to 25-10 on the season.
San Diego State will next participate in the first-ever MWC Championship in Salt Lake City next weekend.
