SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's tennis defeated UNLV in a strong showing this afternoon in Las Vegas, 6-1. SDSU faced the Rebels today after defeating the University of Utah yesterday, 6-1. Both were conference matches, improving the Aztec's record to 3-1, in conference, and 13-6, overall.
Alex Waske played successfully this weekend, returning from a ankle injury he suffered a week ago. Waske defeated Vladimir Pavicevic in the number one spot, 6-2, 6-4. Oliver Maiberger continued his winning streak, 18-0 overall, against Nenad Zivkovic in the number two position.
The Aztecs will be back in action April 4, at the University of San Diego.
