SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's tennis team swept Toledo Thursday afternoon, 7-0. Thursday's win improves the Aztecs to 6-5 overall.
The Aztecs welcomed newcomer Valentino Pest, a freshman from Garching, Germany, to the lineup. Pest saw action in the number three spot and paired with Alex Waske for number one doubles, winning in both positions. Each of the Aztecs beat Toledo for every singles point.
The doubles point was won by the Aztecs, 2-1. Hasson and Oliver Maiberger defeated Lipp/Rao in the number two postition, 8-2.
The Aztecs travel north this weekend to play 16th-rank, Fresno State on Sunday. SDSU returns home on March 14 to play Texas Tech.
