LAS VEGAS (AP) - Four UNLV players scored in double figures to lead the Runnin' Rebels to an 83-55 win over San Diego State on Saturday night.
Donovan Stewart and Trevor Diggs led the Rebels (12-4, 3-1 Mountain West Conference) with 17 points apiece.
Diggs scored 10 of his points in a 22-5 Rebel run which broke an early 8-8 tie. UNLV took a 30-13 lead with 8:14 remaining in the first half en route to a 41-27 halftime lead.
The Rebels opened the second half with a 16-5 run to increase their lead to 57-32 with 14:45 left in the game.
The Aztecs (5-11, 0-3 MWC) never got closer than 22 points after that run.
San Diego St. was led by 22 points from Myron Epps.
Kaspars Kambala scored 13 points and had nine rebounds, while Mark Dickel scored 10 and dished out 10 assists for the Rebels.
