SDSU Men's Golf Finishes 10th At The Tucker Invitational

The San Diego State men's golf team finished 10th at the 1999 William H. Tucker Invitational, played at the Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque. SDSU fired a score of 890 (+26) during the 54-hole invitational that featured four top-25 ranked teams. The Aztecs finished just one stroke behind 12th-ranked Texas.

Eleventh-ranked Brigham Young, bolstered by four players in the top-10 individuals, shot 856 (-6) to take home the team title.

The Aztecs were led by junior Scott Piercy, who finished third after firing a three-under par 213. Ryan Donovan's 72-71-78-(221, +5) placed him tied for 26th.

SDSU continues its fall schedule on Oct. 11-12, when it competes in the Pepperdine STRATA-Intercollegiate tournament at the Saticoy Country Club in Somis California.
