Women's Volleyball Sweeps Central Connecticut State, 3-0

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The San Diego State women's volleyball team won its third consecutive match of the season by easily dispersing Central Connecticut State, 3-0 (15-11, 15-3, 15-13) in the opening match of the Bull Invitational hosted by the University of Buffalo. The Aztecs (3-4) received a balance effort in the win, finishing with a season-high .370 team hitting percentage and holding Central Connecticut to a .016 hitting percentage.

Sophomore middle blocker Nadia Privara paced SDSU, tallying a career-high 10 kills and 10 digs. Senior outside hitter Jamie Evans also notched 10 kills and ended the match with a .444 hitting percentage. Setter Lisa Bostian added 26 assists.

The Bull Invitational concludes tomorrow with the Aztecs facing tournament host Buffalo and Syracuse.
