SAN DIEGO - NO. 27 AZTEC WOMEN'S TENNIS UPSET BY NO. 40 COUGARS
The No.27 San Diego State University women's tennis team(10-5 overall,4-1WAC) was defeated by No. 40 Washington State at the SDSU E. Courts. This match was rescheduled from yesterday's rain-out.
Top performers for the Aztecs were, Maggie Cole playing at the No. 2 spot, defeated Patrycja Gajdzik 7-6,7-5. Senior Sarah Donovan defeated Tamara Filipovic 6-4, 6-3. Whitney Wells defeated Melissa Pine 7-6, 6-1 at the No. 4 spot. Doubles duo of Cole and Donovan defeated Perkins and Sarah Burrows 8-6 at the No. 1 spot.
The Aztecs will play again tomorrow March 17th against Princeton and Friday March 19th against Purdue at the SDSU E. Courts at 2 p.m.
