Aztec Women's Golf Finishes Second at Pilot Invitational

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's golf team finished second out of 14 teams at the Pilot Invitational in Aloha, Oregon, shooting a team total of 930. The University of Oregon won the tournament with a final team score of 908. Karen Bristow, of the University of Oregon, won the tournament shooting a 220, 4-over par.

Top finishers for the Aztecs were freshman Hiroko Fukushima, who moved up two places from yesterday to finish fourth with a 14-over par, 230. Sophomore Nikki Strangarone finished eighth with a final score of 232 (+16), while sophomore Jo Clingan shot a 233 (+17). Other SDSU scores include, Heather Rollo (237-16th) and Nikki Chigas (238-17th).
