#28 Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight

SAN DIEGO - The No. 28 San Diego State men's tennis team remained undefeated by handing No. 62 Oregon a 4-3 loss on Friday at SDSU's East Courts.

The Aztecs (3-0 overall; 2-0 Western Athletic Conference) won the doubles point, getting an 8-6 victory from Alex Waske and Adam Webster at one and a 8-5 win from Kolo Rosenthal and Nguey Lay at two.

In singles action, Waske, who is ranked 21st in the nation in singles, upped his record to 15-3 by defeating the Ducks' Guillermo Carter in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2. SDSU got its other singles wins from Lay, who beat Bertrand Devillers, 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 at three, and from Webster, who beat Oregon's Carlos Navarro, 6-1, 6-1 at four.

The loss dropped the Ducks' record to 1-4 on the year, including an 0-2 mark in the Pac-10.

The Aztecs return to action tomorrow when they host Air Force at 11 a.m. at the East Courts.
