About this Internship: Under the direction of the Special Events Coordinator, the Development Game Day Intern assists with execution of events surrounding our Aztec Club members and staff. This position would help run our events such as football tailgates, basketball receptions, luncheons, banquets and other miscellaneous projects. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who take the initiative and take pride in their work and will provide top-level service for our loyal Aztec Club members. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and represent SDSU Athletics in a professional manner. 

You will be responsible for completing the following: 

• Help manage events associated with Aztec Football including game day tailgates, luncheons, banquets, etc. 
• Help manage events associated with Aztec Men's Basketball including game days, luncheons, banquets, etc. 
• Set-up and breakdown of event spaces, which may require heavy lifting. 
• Assist event coordinator in managing event details surrounding registration, catering, entertainment, etc. 
• Handle any issues and troubleshoot problems on event days. 
• Required to work at least 1 other Aztec Club miscellaneous events (not including a football game day tailgate or men’s basketball reception) such as luncheons, banquets or fundraisers. 
• Be knowledgeable of all current and upcoming initiatives surrounding the Aztec Club and Aztec Athletics.
