Outdoor Track and Field: Lea placed within the top 10 in 12 of the 15 events she competed in during the outdoor season ... Helped her 4x400 team win gold at the MW Championships and set the 10th-best school record in the event (3:36.42) ... Landed a spot on the all-MW team at the end of the season ... Garnered MW All-Academic status for the spring semester and was also named a MW Scholar-Athlete ... Her relay team set the sixth-best school record in the 4x200 at the Penn Relays, where they placed sixth (1:35.99) ... Showed consistent improvement in the 400 Meter throughout the season, opening with a bronze finish at the Calif. Collegiate Invite (55.68) and ending with a new personal record and fourth-place finish at the MW Championships (54.20) ... Also won gold in the 400 at the Triton Invitational (54.64) ... Placed fourth in the 100 (12.46) and first in the 200 (24.73) at the SD Collegiate Challenge.

Indoor Track and Field: Helped drive her 4x400 relay team to a gold victory at the MW Championships (3:40.16), a silver finish at the UW Preview (3:46.65) and a bronze finish at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (3:40.18) ... Her best solo event during the indoor season was the 400 Meter, where she placed within the top 10 in all but one of the events she competed in ... Placed fourth in the quarterfinals for the 400 at the MW Championships (55.18) and eighth in the finals (56.09) ... Placed fifth in the 400 at both the UW Preview (56.61) and the Cherry & Silver Invitational (55.64) ... Came in 21st in the 200 and set a new personal record at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (24.40) ... Finished 33rd in the 60 at the Cherry & Silver Invitational (7.97).

2015-16
Outdoor Track and Field: One of five Aztecs to earn all-MW accolades in multiple events after capturing all-conference honors in the 400 and 4x100 ... As a member of the 4x400-meter relay, won the event at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge (3:49.16), the Trojan Invitational (3:44.17) and the Aztec Invitational (3:47.08) before a second-place finish at the MW Championships (3:41.21) ... Finished fourth-or-better in five-of-six appearances in the 400 meters, capped by a third-place finish and a collegiate best at the MW Championships (54.37) ... Competed in the 200 three times: At the Aztec Invitational (4th, 24.79), the Trojan Invitational (14th, 25.14) and the Bryan Clay Invitational (24th, 24.66) ... Was sixth in her lone appearance in the 100 at the California Collegiate Invitational (12.52). 

Indoor Track and Field: Qualified for the MW Championships in the 200 (9th, 24.61), 400 (10th, 55.85) and 4x400-meter relay (4th, 3:43.44) ... Time in the 4x400 was good for third in program history ... At the UW Invitational, placed sixth in the 400 (56.26), second in the 4x400-meter relay (3:48.47) and 13th in the 200 (25.19) ... Was fourth in the 4x400 (3:51.54) and 10th in the 400 (56.73) at the NAU Challenge ... At the Don Kirby Elite, competed in the 200 (30th, 24.64) and the 400 (33rd, 56.06).  

2014-15
Outdoor Track and Field: Began the outdoor season with a fifth-place finish in the 100 meters at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge with a time of 12.31 in addition to claiming third (3:44.70) in the 4x400 relay... in the 200, placed third (24.73) at the Aztec Invite, second (24.16) at the Mangrum Invite, sixth (24.71) at the UCSD Triton Invite and 10th (24.65) at the MW Championships... in the 400, placed third after running a season-best time of 55.14 at the Aztec Invite, claimed third (55.17) again at the UCLA Legends Invite, 26th (55.49) at the Mt. SAC Relays before heading to MW Championships to finish in fifth with a final time of 55.31... in the 4x400-meter relay, ran a season-best time of 3:44.70 at the MW Championships to take fifth at the meet.

Indoor Track and Field: Competed at the Armory Track Invite (Jan. 30-31), took 11th (3:48.46) in the 4x400-meter relay, 13th (56.03) in the 400 and 26th in the 200 with a preliminary time of 25.02... also traveled to the MW Championships where she placed 13th (24.60) in the 200, ran a season-best time of 55.50 seconds in the 400 to top SDSU's all-time record book at No. 8 and place fifth among conference competitors... also part of the 4x400-meter relay team that earned the No. 7 in SDSU record books for their sixth-place finish after completing the race in a time of 3:47.07.

2013-14
Outdoor Track and Field:
Did not compete during the outdoor campaign at North Carolina State.

Indoor Track and Field: Ran in 11 races during her first year at North Carolina State, mainly in the 60 and 200 meters ... competed in both events at the ACC Championships, taking ninth in the 200 (24.69) and 22nd in the 60 (7.83) ... the 7.83 was a collegiate-best mark ... owned a 200-best time of 24.48 at the Hokie Invitational ... ran one 300, taking fourth at the Hokie Invitational in 39.46.

High School
At Wakefield High School in Raleigh, N.C., was the 2013 North Carolina 4A state champion in the outdoor 200 and the runner-up in the 100, while winning the 300, triple jump and 4x400 at the indoor championships ... finished her prep career with North Carolina all-time high school records in the 200 and 300 ... owns PR's of 11.94 in the 100, 23.95 in the 200, 38.76 in the 300 and 37-07.00 in the triple jump.

Tyra Nicole Lea was born Sept. 7, 1995 in Sierra Vista, Ariz. ... daughter of Zachary Lea and Lolla Lea ... plans to major in kinesiology (physical therapy) with aspirations of becoming an athletic physical therapist.
