2010: Capped his solid first season on Montezuma Road by being named to the Top Drawer Soccer All-Rookie Team (second team) after being named a freshman top-100 player earlier in the season ... Also was named to the Courtyard Marriott San Diego Central All-Tournament team ... Started all 14 games he appeared before an injury sidelined him the final four matches of the season (also missed an Oct. 22 game against California) ... Played every minute of every game prior to missing the Cal match ... Averaged an incredible 91:34 per game ... Played on a defense that had five shutouts in the 14 games he played (one shutout every 2.8 games) ... In the five matches he missed, the defense had just one shutout (one shutout every five games) ... SDSU was 8-5-1 when he played (2-2-1 when he didn[apos]t).
High School: Comes from the soccer-rich area of Indianapolis, Ind., where he played for the Indiana United/U.S. Academy club team ... Helped Indiana United capture back-to-back U.S. Academy national championships ... As a defender, was listed as a top-15 recruit in the Great Lakes region by Top Drawer Soccer ... Also chosen by ESPN Rise Magazine as one of the Top State by State Players ...
