Won first varsity letter at SDSU, earning a starting assignment in 12 of 13 tournaments during his junior campaign after transferring from Allen Hancock College in Santa Maria, Calif. ... Ranked fourth among Aztec regulars with a stroke average of 73.97 and posted four top-20 finishes.
Spring: Started all nine events during the spring schedule, recording a 74.11 stroke average ... Was SDSU[apos]s second finisher at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, where he helped the Aztecs capture the team title with a sixth-place performance of 2-under 214 (March 11-12) ... Tied for the 15th spot on the individual leaderboard at the North Ranch Intercollegiate with a combined 10-over 223 (March 7-8) ... Finished as SDSU[apos]s No. 3 golfer at the Don Puckette National Invitational Tournament, where he carded a 5-over 221, highlighted by a season-low 68 during the opening round (March 16-18) ... Registered a pair of 71s on the first two days of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational en route to a collective 221 (April 5-7) ... Posted an identical 221 in his Mountain West Championships debut, where he tied for the 19th position (May 3-5) ... Capped off the year with his first-ever appearance at the NCAA Regionals in Pullman, Wash., finishing in a tie for 57th with a 228, as his final two rounds counted toward the Aztecs[apos] fifth-place team score (May 16-18).
Fall: Competed in three of SDSU[apos]s four tournaments during the fall slate, posting a stroke average of 73.56 ... Fired an opening-round 69 en route his best combined score of the year at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, where he tied for 17th place with a 2-under 211 (Oct. 15-16) ... Also cracked the starting lineup at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational (Sept. 17-18) and the St. Regis Warrior Wave Invite (Nov. 5-7).
