Played in 21 games... Scored six or more points three times... Shot 87.5 percent from the free-throw line (7-8)... Shot 50 percent or better from the field seven times... In 18 minutes vs. San Diego Christian (11-26-10), he scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds; also connected on his first three-point field goal of the season... Was ranked as the 17th-best junior college player according to jucojunction.com's Top 200 list... Named an NJCCA Division I preseason honorable mention All-American prior to the campaign... Played for the under-20 French national team in the European Basketball Championships before starting his sophomore season... Guided Arizona Western to its first Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) regular season title since 2005, while being named to the All-Region I and All-ACCAC first teams... Selected to play in the NJCCA Men's Basketball Coaches Association's third annual National All-Star Game... AWC finished the year with a 26-3 overall record and a 20-2 in conference play... Earned ACCAC Division I player of the week and NJCCA Division I co-player of the week honors after leading the Matadors to a pair of wins with averages of 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds... Ended his tenure at AWC averaging 12.1 points, while shooting 48.0 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from three-point distance in 27 games.
As A Freshman at Arizona Western College (2006-07 Season)
Guided Arizona Western to its third straight JUCO Region I championship and an appearance in the NJCAA district finals where they lost to College of Southern Idaho... The Matadors finished the season with a 27-6 overall record... Was the lone freshman in the starting lineup and scored in double figures in 11 of the final 14 games... Averaged 11.0 points and 5.3 rebounds, while shooting 53.6 percent from the field.
