Spent his sophomore season at San Diego City College... Ended his year as SDCC's team leader in points (21.1), rebounds (12.9), blocks (3.8), field-goal percentage (60.6) and free throws (178)... Was named the 2009 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Co-MVP and the Pacific Coast Conference Player of the Year while helping San Diego City to a 28-5 record and to the CCCAA quarterfinals... Scored in double figures all but once... Had 42 points and 22 rebounds vs. Canyons and scored 30 or more points five times.
As A Freshman at Pepperdine (2007-08 Season)
Averaged a team-best 8.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks and was Pepperdine's second-leading scorer at 12.5 points, while shooting 51.4 percent from the field... He played in all 32 games, made a team-high 28 starts and averaged a team-high 30.2 minutes... Produced 22 double-figure scoring games and 12 outings with 10 or more rebounds... Had six double-doubles and three 20-point scoring efforts... Scored a season-high 22 points and had eight rebounds at Oregon (11-10-07) in his first-ever game... Put up 20 points and a career-high 16 rebounds vs. Long Beach State (11-21-07)... Blocked a career-best six shots vs. San Diego (2-4-08)... High School
Attended Crawford High... In his final season, he averaged 13.2 points, 12.8 rebounds and 5.3 blocks in helping Crawford to a section title... In two seasons at Crawford, he blocked 215 shots to rank seventh all-time in CIF San Diego Section history and had 168 in 2005-06.
