Played in all 13 games as the team's holder for PATs and field goals.

JUNIOR SEASON (2021)
Played in one game on the season as a holder on field goals and PATs ... Played in his first career game against Boise State on  Nov. 26, holding on field goals and PATs for all-Mountain West performer Matt Araiza.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)
Did not play in the 2020 season but was on the travel squad for all eight games.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
Did not play in his first season with the Aztecs.

HIGH SCHOOL
Received two letters at nearby Hilltop High School in Chula Vista, Calif., under former Aztec quarterback Drew Westling ... Helped the Lancers to a pair of league titles, going undefeated each season ... Was the team’s special teams MVP as a senior ... According to MaxPreps, was 7-for-12 (.583) in field goal attempts and 43-for-48 (.896) in PATs ... Also was the team’s punter as a senior, punting 40 times with a long of 51 yards ... Also won awards while playing on Hilltop High’s soccer (coach’s award) and volleyball (team leader) team ... A scholar-athlete.

David Delgado was born Nov. 9, 2001, in San Diego ... Son of Alejandra Delgado ... A criminal justice major with plans to join the California Highway Patrol.
