SAN DIEGO – San Diego State lacrosse wraps up its 2025 season on Saturday, welcoming UC Davis back to Aztec Field for the second time this season. Opening draw is set for noon, following senior day recognitions, which will begin at 10:50 a.m.

The Aztecs enter this weekend’s contest with a 5-10 overall record and 0-4 in the Big 12, coming off a 23-12 loss at Arizona State last Saturday.
UC Davis brings a 5-9 record to The Mesa. 1-3 in conference play, the Aggies earned an 11-10 win over Cincinnati earlier this month, but most recently fell 15-9 at Colorado.
This will be the 19th meeting between the two programs, and the second this season. UC Davis leads the all-time series 12-6, taking the last game 24-15 on March 22. The last time the Aztecs earned a series win was in 2022 by a score of 21-17.
Sophomore Frankie Garcia and redshirt freshman Bella Tan will look to lead the San Diego State offense to its first conference victory. Garcia tops the Aztecs in points through the season with 54 off 39 goals and 15 assists, placing her sixth in the record book for points in a single season, and seventh on the goals list. Tan is San Diego State’s leading scorer with 44 goals through 15 games, placing her sixth on the all-time list. Tan and Garcia rank fifth and seventh in the Big 12 in goals per game, respectively.
The Aztec offense will face Ally Richardson-Pepper in the cage. The senior leads the league in saves per game, averaging 11.36 through 14 outings.
The Aggies are led offensively by Grace Gebhardt, who has 36 goals on the season, averaging 2.57 per game.
Freshman Grace Moore has started in the goal in San Diego State’s last two games. She recorded a career-high 15 saves vs. Cincinnati, which is the fourth-most in the Big 12 this season.
Saturday’s contest will conclude San Diego State’s campaign in the inaugural Big 12 lacrosse season. Prior to the start of the game, head coach Kylee White will honor seniors Talie Richardson, Matty Spaeth, Carly Sullivan, Meghan McLaughlin, Emma Betts, Kate Christos, Reilly Hunter, Joelle Rothbard, Tierney Schaible and Sara Toner.
