SAN DIEGO – San Diego State men’s tennis is back in action this week, hosting No. 10 Harvard and Wichita State at the Aztec Tennis Center on Tuesday and Friday. The Scarlet and Black will face the Crimson at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, followed by a 2 p.m. Friday matchup against the Shockers.

The Aztecs are 6-7 on the season and 0-1 in the Mountain West, having dropped their last three matches, most recently falling to Idaho in a 4-3 heartbreaker.

Entering the match ranked 10th in the nation, Harvard boasts an 11-3 overall record and a seven-match winning streak. Last time out, the Crimson shut out Quinnipiac University 7-0 after capturing wins over two ranked teams, No. 36 Middle Tennessee and No. 55 Memphis.

Leading the Crimson in singles is Daniel Milavsky, who is the 23rd ranked singles player in the country, followed by 83rd ranked Peter Benjamin Privara. In doubles, Privara and Masato Perera are the highest-ranked pair on the Harvard squad, coming in at No. 18 in the ITA standings, while Milavsky and David Lins rank 89th.

Wichita State holds a 6-8 overall record, 0-0 in the AAC. Following three straight losses, the Shockers captured their first win since Feb. 23 on Sunday, taking down No. 67 Charlotte, 5-2.

Following this week’s matchups, San Diego State will host conference foe UNLV at the Aztec Tennis Center on March 28 at 2 p.m.
